Description

With unshod feet firmly planted on the book of Justice, a proud and determined horse, symbolic of the commitment of the Sheriff\'s Office, stands ever-vigilant and braced against the winds of adversity. \r\nThe empty saddle is a mute testament to the brave rider who, steadfast in his resolve to serving the people, has fallen in the line of duty. Over the saddle horn hangs his pistol belt and Badge of Honor left as a legacy awaiting the next courageous soul willing, and ready, to mount up and ride for Truth and Justice in the dust of those who have gone before.\r\n\r\nThis sculpture is dedicated in humble tribute to those of the Sheriff\'s Office who have sacrificed their lives in service to the people and as an inspiration to present and future generations of Peace officers.\r\n
